The Jefferson is a full-service retirement community. We opened in 1992 and are still the only condominium-ownership continuing care retirement community in the Washington metropolitan area. About 360 residents live in the independent living condos, and about 100 live in the higher levels of care (assisted living, care for the memory impaired and health care).
