Additional Assistance and Care On-Site

The Jefferson offers a broad range of care to include assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care, should the need arise. Seniors from outside The Jefferson community are offered residence in these care centers as space permits.

Assisted Living

Assisted Living at The Jefferson provides just the right amount of support and service to balance our residents' desire for independence and their need for assistance. Each resident is given a customized service plan with monthly wellness reviews. We have nurses on call 24 hours a day and an emergency response system in each suite. Assisted living residents enjoy three delicious meals daily with a varied menu and daily snacks. Our dining concept is unique as we bring the food to your table for you to see and select your own choices. Assistance with activities of daily living by providing reminders and supervision (including bathing, dressing, grooming, walking, orientation), housekeeping, linen and towel service, daily socials, scheduled transportation, status checks by 24-hour staff, and all utilities except telephone and cable service. Additional costs may include personal services or items such as hair care, toiletries, personal laundry, incontinence products, unscheduled transportation, and guest meals. Rates of rooms vary based on size and location.

• More intensive assistance with daily living activities like bathing, dressing and grooming
• Escort service to meals and community activities

Assisted Living Plus Plus

Maximum assistance with activities of daily living. Includes all services noted above, in addition to manageable incontinence and more frequent reality orientation.

Reminiscence Care in The Arbor

People with Alzheimer's disease and related memory problems have unique, changing needs. Our Reminiscence program is designed with this in mind. Our care-giving team works with the community team members to integrate new research into programs for our residents. Everything -- from the simple layout, home decor, family-style meals, and secured outdoor terraces, to the specially trained staff and the structured daily activities designed to enhance memory -- fosters an atmosphere where residents can thrive.

Rehabilitation and Recovery Center

The Rehabilitation and Recovery Center at The Jefferson is designed for residents who require post-hospital, post-surgical, or more complex round-the-clock nursing care. Staffed by registered nurses, licensed nurses, and certified nursing assistants, we offer 24-hour care. Physical, occupational, and speech therapies are also available. Medicare and Medicaid spaces are available.

There is no community fee for Rehabilitation and Recovery Center residents.
